The cylinder length depends directly on door thickness plus fitting thickness. You can choose between many different cylinder lengths. Measuring the two main cylinder measurements is child’s play. The figure shows you what you have to do. Always measure from the middle of the fastening screw for the cylinder. When you buy a new fitting you have to know the distance from the cylinder to the door handle. It is either 72 mm or 92 mm.
