ABUS bike lock Varedo 47 is test winner of „Stiftung Warentest“, the renowned German test institute
The U-shackle lock prevailed against 30 other candidates with mark 1,6 and received the quality seal „good“.
Especially the high level of security against opening at-tacks, counting 75 percent of the evaluation, convinced the test personnel. Both the resistance against brutal as well as intelligent opening methods were rated „very good“.
Apart from the Varedo 47 further ABUS locks were able to convince “Stiftung Warentest”: The Steel-O-Flex 950 achieved top grades in the category armoured cable locks with the quality seal „good“ and mark 2,0.
The most recent development, the foldable lock Bordo 6000, stands out with mark 1,9. The compact lock fea-tures advantages like uncomplicated transport and high ease of use combined with a high level of security. The Bordo received mark “good”. |
